A longer sentence for Scott Adrian Fox - extreme abuse material found but only 2 years

The criminal justice system is a travesty.
It was reported in the Nottingham Post that Scott Adrian Fox of 46 Catlow Walk, Arnold Nottingham was found with ‘7,535 in Category A - the most serious - then 12,746 in Category B - and nearly 400,000 in Category C’. Despite all this, Judge Rosalind Coe QC sentenced him only to 2 years in prison.
Even though he admitted viewing images like this for over twenty years he was only charged with recent possession. He got two years for ‘Category A images, 12 months concurrent for the Category B and four months concurrently on the Category C.’
This is what is wrong with our criminal justice system.
Think of how these children are impacted around the world, how this predator’s demand for images produced the market for these horrific events to take place.
Who knows where these children are – if they even survived?
Were they rescued from this sexual violence?
These children will have lifelong psychological and physical injuries if they survived.
Who knew about it? Where did he get the images from? Did the men seen in the images get arrested?
As a minimum images of child abuse should be recognised as crimes against children and in breach of the Human Rights of Children.
These were depictions of torture and by proxy, he contributed to the torture of children by creating demand for it (do we know if he carried out some of these practices on children or animals?)
He will be out in two years and then he will be rehoused and given a new identity, while the children in the images suffered, their stories will never be told.
Moreover, he should have a lifelong debt that he must pay. We propose that men found in possession of child-abuse imagery are fined per image – in his case he would be contributing lifelong to a fund that supports children of abuse.
We want the Crown Prosecution Service to review this sentence term.
We want assurances that UK police will investigate to find out about these children.
