Working Together for a Safer Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, and surrounding areas.

We, the undersigned residents, business owners, employees, and visitors of Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, and surrounding areas respectfully call on the City of Flin Flon and the RCMP to work alongside our community to address the growing concerns surrounding public safety in our downtown.

Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, and surrounding areas is a community built on resilience, compassion, and neighbourly support. We recognize that many individuals experiencing addiction, mental health challenges, or homelessness deserve dignity, understanding, and access to appropriate services. At the same time, every resident, worker, business owner, and visitor deserves to feel safe while walking downtown, shopping, attending community events, accessing local services, or bringing their children to our parks and businesses.

This petition is not about placing blame on any individual or organization. Instead, it is a call for collaboration, open communication, and practical solutions that balance public safety with compassion and support.

We believe Flin Flon has the ability to create a downtown that is welcoming, vibrant, safe, and inclusive for everyone. Achieving this requires cooperation between municipal leaders, law enforcement, service providers, businesses, and community members.

By signing this petition, we respectfully ask the City of Flin Flon and the RCMP to meet with members of the community to discuss these concerns and work together to develop both immediate and long-term solutions that improve safety while ensuring compassion and support for those who need it.
