Hi Everyone,

I am Ivan Guilin and I am a second-year student at California State University, San Marcos. Since it’s the start of the semester, there’s several new students who live both on and off-campus who attend in-person classes. However, there’s not enough parking for the students and it has caused some of us to park far off-campus and/or be late to class or even miss it entirely. It’s not fair to us that we have to pay hundreds of dollars for parking permits, including myself who paid over $600, yet we’re not guaranteed spaces. I suggest that the school opens up more parking spaces for the students, especially overnight spaces for those living on campus. If the university does not choose this solution, then it must find another so we can park our vehicles and get to class on time safely.
