Currently, the Peel District School Board only requires one single-stall gender neutral washroom per school, disregarding the number of Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender Nonconforming students that would benefit from a communal washroom. This does not meet the Equity and Inclusion standards that the Board holds itself to. We implore the Peel District School Board to change the sign of at least one communal gendered washroom to a gender neutral one in every school.
