Children need to be safe and free from environments that call for police action or interaction.  The Napa police were called to Kayleigh Slushers mother’s home 14 times for various reasons.  They were called out to the home again 2 times just the week of her murder specifically for her safety and to do a welfare check.  A few days later the media reported she died from blunt force trauma.
