As Sir David Attenborough reaches his 100th year on our planet, I propose that the country designates a special day to honour his service to conservation and the appreciation of the earth. This day could be recognised annually by schools and could be celebrated by nature walks, participation in conservation projects, and by viewing some of Sir David's wonderful documentaries.
