

Hi everyone,
Just a quick but important update — the official Parliament petition for the NHS Railcard is gaining signatures steadily. We're now close to 1,000 signatures, and the petition will run for 6 months.
There have been similar efforts in the past, but they didn’t take off — and frankly, times have changed. Many of us are tired of how much we give to this system while getting so little back.
Train fares have gone up 17% in a year, and salaries haven’t. Some of us are commuting from other cities — even from Glasgow — because housing near hospitals is unaffordable. Meanwhile, we receive zero support to help us get to work.
This Railcard isn’t a luxury — it’s common sense.
