As a straight individual, I often feel that our identity and contributions are overlooked in today's dialogue surrounding equality and recognition.

It is not about diminishing anyone else's identity or achievements but about ensuring that every group has an equal platform to celebrate who they are. Dedicating the month of August to straight males and females is not just a matter of fairness, but also a way to foster mutual understanding and respect among different communities.
