Create a comic book adaptation of Scorpion (not just all 4 seasons but a 5th and beyond)
The Issue
Whereas; a lot of people hate how the show ended on a cliffhanger but the storyline for S5 had already been planned out before they realized they weren't getting one so it deserves to be seen so maybe the world of comics could make that happen (and other shows like Buffy have gotten successful comic book continuations)
Whereas; if it wasn't just the-S5-that-never-happened-on-TV onward but actually adapted the entirety of the show that aired the fandom could have an opportunity to live anew and people could get into the comics without having to watch the show first (and maybe if it has a new life as a comic it could even get TV-rebooted as an adult-animation cartoon with the cast returning to voice the roles they originally played live-action)
Whereas; given this show sometimes seeming like a borderline superhero show with the death-defying action and the sheer level of sci in the sci-fi and there being iirc some superhero shenanigans in the plot, a comic book of the show (as I was describing, an adaptation of the whole series not just a continuation) despite not technically being a superhero comic book could appeal to fans of superhero comics and its release could strategically take advantage of the superhero boom
Whereas; I don't mean to stereotype (in any sense but the positive) but given that it's a story about the action-y competence-porn shenanigans of a bunch of neurodivergent nerds it's highly likely what I'm proposing would find an audience among those who usually read comic books
Whereas; the storytelling in this show at its best is just beautiful enough that I'd want to experience it again and what little I've heard of what the writers had planned for S5 (how to resolve the cliffhanger and where to go from there) sounds intriguing enough that I'd love to see it played out in full (esp. all the more reason for my idea of it going from live-action to comic to cartoon)
Whereas; a popular comic based on a more-recently-ended show than something like Buffy or Firefly could not only get built-in eyes on it but provide some prominent alternative for those fatigued by DC and Marvel
Therefore someone (perhaps Dark Horse or Dynamite, they've done TV adaptation/continuation comics in the past) should make a comic book adaptation of the CBS show Scorpion that covers the four seasons that got to air and continues on for the planned S5 arc and perhaps beyond that if "S5" leaves room for a beyond-that plot-wise (and if that succeeds before the cast is too old to do this maybe the comic gets adapted into a cartoon-perhaps-stylized-Arcane-style reboot with them returning to voice their old roles)
