We request a Community Food Growing Space for Cranbrook growing free organic food, bringing the community together. We shall call the project Incredible Edible Cranbrook which would be part of a wider national movement called 'Incredible Edible (http://incredibleediblenetwork.org.uk/ ).

There are many potential community benefits including:

1) Health - physical and mental well-being

2) Social - a truly inclusive activity for everyone in Cranbrook

 3) Environmental - supporting sustainable organic growing and growing together as we learn about sustainable food production

As there is no allotment provision in Cranbrook (removed from original plans) and typical garden space generally prevents residents from growing their own food, we request the Town Council provides a shared Community Food Growing Space for the 2017 growing season.
