We demand the council rescind the decision to introduce the paid parking trial in March 2017 at Burleigh Heads and not to expand paid parking beyond already metered areas within Burleigh Heads.

There has been an absence of local community consultation, engagement and notification with respect to this decision and we oppose paid parking in any form as a means to alleviate congestion problems as so identified by council.
