On 12Sep2019, the present MD of BMRCL, Mr. Ajay Seth IAS gave a very patient hearing regarding the situation created by the decision of BMRCL to shift the Metro Station at Cantonment, during a Meeting at his office. While stating that at this stage (construction at Bamboo Bazaar Playground had started) the Station cannot be shifted, he was open to discuss ideas to reduce the problems faced by Commuters&Travellers to move the long and difficult distance. On 02Dec2019 Mr. Ajay Seth with his officials met me at Cantonment Rly Stn and then we moved to the Bamboo Bazaar playground to discuss the same. BMRCL has now agreed (1) to build a FOOT OVER BRIDGE (FOB) from near the Metro Station right upto the Main Entrance of CanttRlyStn - exact location will depend on land availability for landing of FOB. (2) to seriously consider request for incorporating a TRAVELATOR all along the FOB so as to make it easy to cross the distance and (3) to extend the FOB to cross the huge junction opposite the Cantonment Underpasses on Miller Road so as to make it easy for people to reach the Rly Stn as well as the Metro Stn.

We hope BMRCL will work out an excellent FOB system with all features which will make it easy and safe for the Users.
