The single point which must not be compromised is to restore tight integration between major modes of Transport (Indian Railways, Suburban Trains, BMTC, Namma Metro, Autos, etc.) which is available on a platter at the location approved as per the DPR of this Project. Integration of major modes of Transport is the only practical solution to the rising congestion and pollution of Namma City. The time has come for BMRCL to work out an appropriate solution, and ensure the Cantonment Metro Station stays where it was approved in the long-term interests of Bengaluru. All the resources are available with BMRCL to work out a solution keeping the needs of the Citizens and the City in mind. The voice of the paying common man must be heard.
