Complications from the COVID-19 virus continue to plague our community in rapid ways, and we as a whole need to come together to set precautions for everyone to stay safe. We all have families we want to protect, due to COVID. Though every day we go on without people getting the vaccine, puts us into more danger.  Hospitals are being filled up with people who have COVID every day, to the point that hospitals are at max capacity. Since that is happening, what will happen when students become infected?  The vast majority of hospitalized are people that are unvaccinated. Since more people are getting infected due to them not getting the vaccine. It leads to the possibility of more students getting infected, which can lead to the school shut down due to safety measures. If the school shuts down, then we will go back to virtual learning, which in my opinion isn't the best way to learn. Especially with all the negative factors that come along with it; such as a lack of focus, lack of motivation, laziness, random shutoffs from internet and many more. There are also some positive factors such as less stress, more time to do assignments, flexibility, quick feedback on tests, etc... The reason I say this is because my main problem is that our education is in danger and the people who are vaccinated are doing what they can in order to suppress this problem. While there are others who aren't vaccinated that aren't helping with the situation and instead making it more difficult for the ones that want to become successful individuals in the future. I understand it is their right as a citizen and a human being to have the choice to get the vaccine, but if they aren't going to get the vaccine, please stay home until you've taken all the safety precautions. In order for the school to have less of a chance of shutting down due to Covid.  Some ideas would be like hybrid learning or 9th and 10th grade Monday and Wednesday and 11th and 12th Tuesday and Thursday.
