PM Boris Johnson and UK COVID-19 decision-makers are negligent to the point that the March 12 PM announcement is indeed a crime against the British people. PM's approach will make the UK a potential Wuhan: A passive response is a non-response, and an irresponsible and grave mistake. 

We demand the UK Govt. implement a blended containment and mitigation response following the guidance set out by WHO.

This is a controllable pandemic and containment measures can chase the virus and help slow its spread through society.

The UK needs to heed the March 11 and March 13 2020 advice of the WHO and use all public health measures, all steps, in a blended "comprehensive " way:

1. Identify cases with testing for COVID-19

2. Intensive contact tracing (based on symptoms experienced if COVID-19 testing is not available)

3. Cluster Identifying and reverse contact tracing

4. Community transmission identifying and steps 1-3

**Steps 1-3 above can be done by citizens**

AND

5. Intense and immediate aggressive social distancing and full border closures

6. Closing all schools immediately (especially because there are children who are immunocompromised) 

All parents must be given the option to take the executive decision to keep their children at home if they believe it to be in the best health interests of their children without fear or favour from DfE and the local education authority.

Do not wait for this Governments lazy approach which is willing to put at risk the welfare of your children, your wider family and your friends.

Children can spread the virus so it is important that even though consequences in young people are lower, that we do everything possible to slow down and stop the transmission to the vulnerable in our society.
