Thank you for adding your signature to our petition. April 1st has come and gone and although bill S8125A (formerly referred to as bill S8125) has strong support in the state Senate, it has not been passed because Governor Cuomo is refusing to support it. 

Michael Gianaris, the state senator who introduced the bill has stated that he has never experienced such a huge outpouring of public support for a bill. May 1st is just around the corner.  We have to continue to mount pressure on Governor Cuomo to get bill S8125A passed.

We are calling on our supporters to join us in emailing, calling, and tweeting the Governor of New York to ask him to support Senate bill S8125A.
