Here’s my story .. I have a 1 year old shih tzu puppy who is the softest doggy I ever known . He is very friendly and amazing with the children,to my kids he means the absolute world.One day Cookie was fast asleep while my 8 year old son was playing and running around, he then decided to pick Cookie up awaking him from a deep sleep, he reacted as he got scared and nipped my son on his cheek, he had bruise and a little scratch .He did not mean to do it what so ever and never did anything like this before, however my son said to the police that he did bite him before but he mean by playing , just like a puppy would .My son went to school who involved child services and they have decided to get the police involved . Interviewed my son at school,then they come to my house. I had to go police station to give out the statement and in the end I have been told that our doggy is a danger to my children( absolute rubbish)and he can not go back to our house!he has to live permanently at my parents house. Kids can see him at mums while supervised but he can’t stay at home while supervised! My kids are broken crying for their best friend,this made a huge impact on their lifes, they won’t function as before and my older son refuses to go back to school. Puppy keeps crying too as he misses us and he misses home , I am heart broken.. I am ready to move the mountains to bring him home where he belongs! I have been told by the police that i will appeal then the judge might think the same and destroy Cookie. I have all the trust in this little fella, i know him the Best and he never ever could be a danger to anyone , he is as soft as a baby and it was just an accident, natural reaction and wasn’t his fault . Please help, we so need him back home :(
