On the 5 April whilst playing football, my brother was viciously attacked. Such ordeal led to his jaw broken in two places, permanent facial disfigurement, a mouth held together by plates and wires and psychological damage. Not to mention extensive surgery. The Defendant, a 21 year old member of the Armed Forces pleaded guilty at the last minute to skip a heavier sentencing. His sentencing consisted of 240 community service hours and a compensation payment of £60. I am asking for the help of the community to seek justice for my brother. His face will not recover such violent act, the permanent damage has been done. This is enough to cope with, without knowing that the Defendant has taken no responsibility, no lessons have been learned. Nothing. This isn't about the money, it's about justice for my brother and for the Defendant to accept responsibility for his actions rather than laughing off the pitch. Please help me gain the justice my brother deserves.
