Dear Supporters,
The Public Inquiry into the Planning Appeal by Leverhulmes has been taking place over the last few weeks.
Leverhulmes have appealed against the Council's refusal to give planning permission for 1000 houses on 8 Green Belt sites in Irby, Pensby, Greasby, Thingwall, Barnston, Heswall and Raby Mere. This is just phase one of their "Vision"...if they are succesful they plan 7754 houses on Wirral's Green Belt. The decision now lies with the Government Planning Inspector.
The Planning Inspector has called a public meeting at Wallasey Town Hall on Thursday 8th June at 6pm. WE NEED A SHOW OF SUPPORT AND UNITY AGAINST THESE PLANS TO DESTROY OUR PRECIOUS GREEN BELT.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE ATTEND and let the Planning Inspector now that the people of Wirral do not want our environment and valuable farmland destroyed for greed.
Please do your utmost to attend - it really is important! Please invite your friends, family and neighbours too.
Thankyou for your support
Once the Green Belt has Gone, It's Gone Forever!
