VERUM VICTOR HEALTHCARE / BELLWAY HOMES are planning to build a 254 unit Care Village plus a large housing estate of approx 300 HOUSES on Green Belt Land off HILL BARK RD, MILL LANE, OAKDALE DRIVE, CHESTNUT CLOSE AND THORNS DRIVE, GREASBY.

BELLWAY are part of the "Wirral Development Consortium" who are challenging Wirral Council's "Brownfield Only" Local Plan at the Local Plan Examination in Public.

The Consortium argue that the Council's Housing Need Figure of 835 houses per year is too low and that Green Belt must be released. They also argue that the Brownfield sites identified by the Council are not viable.

They have engaged a Planning Barrister, Rupert Warren KC, to argue on their behalf. Wirral Green Space Alliance want to engage our own legal representatives to argue ON YOUR BEHALF to SAVE THE GREENBELT!

Please donate as little or as much as you can afford to the legal fund. These developers are set to make £millions from these proposals and can afford to employ expensive planning experts and Barristers to argue on their behalf. Legal fees are VERY expensive. We hope to have legal representation at as many days as possible at the Local Plan Examination in Public, depending on how much we can raise.
