In the recent adjustment to the “new normal” Financial issues are on the rise for many, including our student body.

Fees at Costaatt are currently at  $410 for semester 1, $280 for semester 2 and $280 for the short semester  

The suggestion of lowering the registration fee of $410 for Semester 1 (2020-2021) in light of the cancellation of multiple courses has been brought up to the Institution and was quickly rejected.

• The request for a decrease in registration fees will only be temporary until classes are face to face.
• Those in favor of this movement would have signed this petition.

 As per government regulation, schools are closed until 2021, therefore classes have been moved online. The number of courses offered  have also been reduced due to this, majority of the students are not going to use the facilities due to strict guidelines of appointment and social distancing guidelines put in place by the college.
Unemployment has been increased due to the current economic situation that Has been attributed by COVID-19, many families have begun  to experience  the full brunt of this by having less working hours  which In turn lowers their overall salary or losing jobs entirely many families with businesses have also been impacted 
 
 As a college student, I am aware and understand the tremendous expense that comes with attending college however during global pandemic a lot of families are struggling financially and many of us, students are still trying to get an education during these difficult time. Many other colleges, within our country as well as around the world have reduced their amenity fees and therefore, we are pleading with you to do the same.
