HELP SAVE OUR HY-VEE ON 6TH STREET

They want to close Hy-Vee on 6th st in Lawrence, Ks.  We want to keep it open.  The staff is always friendly and helpful.  Shopping there is like being around family instead of just employees.  They greet you with a smile and are very helpful to help with caterings, to help you find items in the store and if they don't carry it they will try to find if they can order it for you.

I know of several business that use their catering services, people that have used them for special occasions:weddings, dinners, anniversaries, and special sports occasions.  The ones I have spoken with have said if the store closes they will shop at other stores, not at Hy-Vee.  Many of these people drive from across town to shop at the one on 6th st, because of the atmosphere, the friendliness and cleanliness of the store.                                        

We need everyone to call and or email customer service and voice your concerns with the store closing maybe we can get them to change their minds. There are also petitions to be signed to show that we want to keep the store open. One is at the Library in Lawrence, one is at the Art Center and one at the Community Building on the bulletin board.
