Please support painted bike lanes on the streets of Coronado.  

Safety for our children traveling through our community is our biggest concern and bike lanes are a proven strategy for reducing collisions among drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

With the presence of bicyclists, drivers are more aware of their surroundings and drive at more moderate speeds.

These bike lanes are about more than just bicyclists, they will make our streets safer for our children and our community more livable and prosperous.  

The bike lanes and/or sharrows don't have to be all over the island but they do need to be in areas to give bike access to places like the schools, the library, the beach, the parks, the stores, ect.

Riding a bicycle is the most practical method to maneuver around Coronado, and we need to allow the city to continue moving forward with constructing the supporting infrastructure needed to make the streets safer for us and our children.  

Show that Coronado residents are interested in improving conditions for kids, commuters, recreational cyclists and others to safely ride bikes through the streets of our little Island.
