I am deeply saddened by the lack of consideration given to wheelchair users in the planning of Charleville town park. Inclusion is extremely important to me as I have a son who is a wheelchair user and time and time again my husband and I are limited in the activities that we can do with him due to lack of accessibility. This is wrong on so many levels.

Disability inclusion means that individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of life to the fullest extent possible.  Including people with disabilities in everyday activities and encouraging them to have experiences similar to their peers who do not have a disability is important for building the capacity of youth, especially youth with disabilities, and making society more inclusive for all individuals. 

I would love to see a wheelchair swing being made available to the many wheelchair users in the locality; children, teenagers and adults alike all could benefit from it.
