Hi TCE supporters and Coppell friends,

What started as the Save TCE movement has always been about something bigger than one school.
It’s about protecting the strength of Coppell ISD — for our kids, our educators, and our community as a whole.

Today’s Did You Know? is a reminder of just how strong CISD already is — and how healthy enrollment is the key to keeping it that way.

🎓 Did You Know — Coppell ISD?

CISD isn’t just good — it’s exceptional:

  • 🎓 99% graduation rate
Nearly every CISD student graduates on time.
  • 🅰️ Every school rated A or B
Zero C, D, or F campuses across the district.
  • 📚 Top SAT performance
Coppell High School averages hundreds of points above the Texas average.
  • 🏅 47 National Merit Semifinalists
One of the highest totals in North Texas.
  • 💰 $25 MILLION in scholarships
Awarded to the CISD Class of 2024 alone.
  • 🎯 1,300+ AP Scholar Awards
Students earning college credit before graduation.

This is what a high-performing public school district looks like.

🏡 What Does This Mean for Us - Homeowners?

Strong schools don’t just benefit students — they directly protect home values.

📊 School Quality & Home Value — The Data Is Clear

  • 🏠 Homes in top-rated school districts sell for 10–20% more than similar homes elsewhere
  • 📈 In highly desirable districts, premiums can reach 20–30%+
  • 💰 Nationwide, homes in the most sought-after districts sold for 135% higher median prices than surrounding areas
  • 💵 For every $1 invested in schools, home values can rise by about $20
  • 📊 A 5% improvement in test scores correlates with a 2.5% increase in nearby home values
  • 🔑 30% of homebuyers list school quality as one of their top decision factors

Strong schools = strong property values = a strong Coppell.

🤝 How We Win Together: Grow Enrollment

While we were united to protect TCE, we can do even more together by supporting healthy enrollment across CISD — which helps prevent future school closures and staff reductions.

Here are three important programs you can help spread the word about right now:

📌 Limited Open Enrollment

Allows students from approved neighborhoods outside CISD boundaries to enroll in Coppell ISD.

👨‍👩‍👧 Legacy Student Transfers

For students whose parent or legal guardian graduated from CISD.

👵👴 Grandparent Student Transfers

For students who have a grandparent living within CISD boundaries.

These programs help:

  • 📈 Increase enrollment
  • 💰 Stabilize funding
  • 🏫 Protect neighborhood schools
  • 👩‍🏫 Support teachers and staff

💙 Final Thought

We came together to protect Town Center Elementary —
now let’s channel that same energy to strengthen CISD as a whole.

Tell your neighbors.
Tell your family.
Tell former CISD families who’ve moved nearby.

We win as one Coppell ISD.

Thank you again for your continued support, attention, and care for our schools and our community.

We are stronger together — and 2026 is ours to shape.
