Eradicate Confederate State of America statue in front of Faulkner County Courthouse

Eradicate Confederate State of America statue in front of Faulkner County Courthouse

The Issue

The Conway Confederate Monument was erected in 1925 in front of the Faulkner County Courthouse by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The memorial represents a time where the South was anti-abolitionist and it does not represent Conway well. Many states are voting to eradicate or completely eradicating monuments like this. So why should Conway be an exception in a time of change?

If I cannot get it taken down, I would like to erect a empowering African American monument or Native American monument, or both.
