I am a proud Buffalonian who grew up in the 1970s when the Buffalo Braves were not just a team, but a cultural cornerstone of our community. Like many of my peers, I've followed the team’s journey even after their relocation to the west coast. The love for the game and the Braves runs deep within me, and I know there are countless others who feel the same.

The Buffalo Braves, now known as the LA Clippers, have an incredibly rich history that began right here in Buffalo, New York. The Braves played an integral role in the sports and social life of our city, and their legacy lives on through fans who have cherished memories of cheering for them at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium. Although the team’s name and home have changed, the heartfelt connection between the team and its Buffalo roots should not be forgotten.

In honor of this history and the many fans who still uphold the spirit of the Braves, I propose that the LA Clippers play one game each season as the Buffalo Braves.
