As someone who lives in Perth, it’s incredibly frustrating to constantly see “Australian tours” announced while Western Australia is left off the schedule. I’ve missed out on seeing some of my favourite bands because travelling interstate isn’t affordable for everyone.

Perth has a huge community of passionate rock and metal fans who deserve the same opportunity as the rest of Australia to enjoy live concerts from their favorite bands. We are a vibrant city with an appreciation for great music and a strong local fanbase for System of a Down. Bringing their tour to Perth would not only fulfill a massive wish for many loyal fans but also show that the band acknowledges and values their audience here as much as in the eastern states.

This is more than just a plea from a single fan – it's a call to acknowledge the entire Perth community, which continuously expresses its love for rock and metal music and stands united in this request. Business-wise, hosting a concert here makes sense too. Our local venues are well-suited for performances of this calibre, and historically, international acts have had successful shows in the city, showing the strong demand and great reception.
