For almost a decade now I have been in search of a solution to updating and integrating a modern head unit into my 2008 Acura TSX. Scosche had the perfect solution for aftermarket head unit integration into the factory 7th generation Honda Accord which they have discontinued. Recently it has come to my attention that the electronic control unit also works perfectly in the 1st generation Acura TSX. Everything is plug and play as far as electronics. In order to fit into the TSX a new fascia would need to be designed. The 2004-2008 Acura TSX has been plagued with extremely limited possibilities of installing an updated / modern after market head unit. With my current findings the discontinued Scosche units would be a perfect solution , however , since Scosche has decided to discontinue production of the said Honda Accord Kit the solutions for the TSX are back to being extremely limited in options and quality of products for integrating an after market Head Unit into the 1st generation Acura TSX. My ultimate goal is to gather enough support and signatures to make Scosche realize that discontinuing the production of the 7th gen accord was a mistake , and to hopefully make them see that all the hard work has already been laid out for an 1st gen Acura TSX Kit to be brought into reality.
