Currently Australia has an online registration process to become an organ donor, it is sadly something that not everyone knows about. This process also means that those who don’t really have an opinion on the matter won’t go out of their way to register. 

This petition is to change the process in Australia to make organ donation an opt-out process. This means that not only will we have a greater amount of organ donors for the 1850 people on the waiting list, but the process also respects autonomy of those who desire to opt-out. 

I urge you to sign this; the ending to someone’s story can transform or even save the lives of 10+ others  

Without the wonderful organ donors of Australia, my family wouldn’t be whole, and for them I am so grateful.
