 Petition to Appeal Rates Established by the Board of Directors Kempner Water Supply Corporation 11986 East Hwy 190 Kempner, TX 76539 512-932-3701

 The undersigned ratepayers of Kempner Water Supply Corporation hereby appeal the decision of the board of directors of the Corporation affecting the rates charged to them by Kempner Water Supply Corporation. The rate change which, does not have an effective start date yet, will affect the price per gallon that the members pay. On October 6, 2023 the ratepayers were notified by the service provider of the rate increase. The undersigned request that the Public Utilities Commission of Texas review the decision to determine if the rates established are just and reasonable. The old rate charged by the service provider was $5.25 per 1000 gallons and the new rate is $7.05 per 1000 gallons.
