I am a student living in Auckland CBD and find it very strange that there is no calisthenics park anywhere near here. They are all around Auckland so it makes no sense that there wouldn't be one in a highly populated one like the CBD. 

I currently work out using a bar on a children's playground at Myers Park, it is in the middle of a bunch of children playing and is super inconvenient and awkward to use but even still I often seen others using the same bar so its very clear there is a big demand for a separate area for calisthenics. There's lots of space in Myers park where one could be built. 

Fitness is very important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and some people who live in the city cant afford gym memberships or would prefer an outdoor space to work out. It would also be good for the community to have a space like this as it would foster more community interaction.
