Dr. Theresa Tam, Chief Public Health Officer of Canada, has come under partisan attack at a time when all Canadians should be united. 

Dr. Tam is exceptionally qualified, having played a leadership role in Canada's response to public health emergencies including severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), pandemic influenza H1N1, Ebola,[1] COVID-19 and the current coronavirus pandemic in Canada. 

We won't stand for partisan attacks on our public servants. 

We, the undersigned, wish to convey our trust, respect, and gratitude for Dr. Tam. She is working tirelessly and brilliantly for all Canadians and we thank her, and her team.
