Previously, the introduction of the number 25 bus service, connecting Leeds and Otley via Pool in Wharfedale, improved public transport links for the Pool community. Without it, not only does the added traffic burden our local road network, but it also has made independent travel more complicate for younger members without a driving licence. 

Therefore, we call upon the Leeds City Council and the local transportation authorities to hold an open consultation on the reversal of the newly introduced 25 bus service to the previous X84 route, which avoided passing through our village. 
A well-reasoned decision and action is crucial for easing the increasing transportation burden on our village, protecting our environment, and also for preserving the well-being of its inhabitants.
