Save Coco Key Waterbury

Save Coco Key Waterbury
The Issue
Coco Key Waterbury employs nearly 500 employees year round. This summer those 500 citizens will be forced to collect unemployment due to a spontaneous auction that they were not aware of. Many of these employees are students trying to pay their way through community college and have been loyal employees for years. Others who are employed here have made this their career and have families that cannot survive off of unemployment alone. Not only will these people be out of a job but the community will lose its only local family friendly indoor water park.. This park has become for many of us like a second home. We do understand that there are some changes that need to be made, however this auction put a halt to that. If we are able to keep Coco Key open for business we can continue to make the improvements we set out to accomplish since new management stepped in.
