It's a fairly simple plan. The basic goal is to have school teachers have firearms in the class room, but secured in a fashion to be describe later. Teachers would attend a multi-day training on proper use of firearms, how to care for them, how to treat them. For example, teachers of any public school teaching level will: 

• Learn the three rules of gun safety
• Learn how to aim a firearm and shoot relatively accurate (within the size of a small dinner plate at minimum)
• Learn how to recognize an immediate threat

Then to accomodate this, a safe with a finger print quick unlock would be required to be placed near wherever the teacher os regularly at. If the safe is being attempted to be unlocked by anyone other then campus safety officers, the teacher, or adiminstration, the safe would not unlock but would notify campus safety officers and administration. Inside the safe would be a handheld semi-automatic handgun, preloaded. Whenever the safe would be attempted to be opened, be it succesful or not, campus safety and administration would still be notified. Now for the grim reality. The reason for this is that if the teacher is disabilitated first, they would hopefully be able to react fast enough to set off a warning.

The reasoning behind this over more gun control is simply that gum control has clearly not worked, and if a teacher can react, instead of 10 students dying, that number could be mitigated to a minimum, or even put at zero killed. 

This may be a more expensive alternative, however, money should not be a factor when faced with human lives.

When completed the petition will be sent to the United States Congress.
