I am writing to you today as a Principal of Seva Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's Dr. N. J. Paulbudhe College of Pharmacy, Savedi, Ahilyanagar, affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra, with a profound sense of duty and commitment. Our college cherishes the invaluable contributions made by Savitribai Phule and Jyotirao Phule, visionaries who tirelessly worked towards the upliftment of women and marginalized sections of society. Their pioneering efforts laid the foundation for women's education and social reform in India.

Savitribai Phule was a trailblazer, opening the first school for girls in India at a time when educating women was considered taboo. Her relentless efforts and Jyotirao Phule's support were instrumental in breaking societal shackles and advocating for equal rights for women and the oppressed. Their work has inspired generations and continues to resonate deeply in the hearts of millions, transcending barriers of caste, gender, and age.

Recently, the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly passed a resolution in favor of posthumously awarding the Bharat Ratna to these exemplary leaders. As part of an institution bearing Savitribai Phule's name, it is our moral responsibility to honor their legacy by supporting and amplifying this call for recognition.

We are launching this digital campaign to gather nationwide support for this noble cause. Posthumously conferring the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, on Savitribai Phule and Jyotirao Phule would not only honor their memory but serve as a powerful testament to the importance of social reform and gender equality.
