Thanks to all of you who have expressed an interest in the Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park. The Board of Directors and staff are truly grateful that you care deeply about your parks. Last May, CRPD held a neighborhood meeting at the Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park to discuss improvements to that existing park. We have a drawing from that meeting (labeled "Upgrades Concept Plan" which I am happy to share with you if you send me your email address. (I don't think I can attach a PDF to this message). Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we expect to propose a budget for those improvements (restroom, perimeter walking path, additional trees) in the upcoming CRPD Capital Improvement Plan for this upcoming fiscal year (July 2013 - June 2014). We plan to submit the CIP Budget to the CRPD Board for their consideration at the Board meeting on May 23rd at 7:30 PM at 403 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks. If you have any questions about this project or the Conejo Valley parks, open space and recreation in general, please feel free to call (805) 495-6471, check out our website at www.crpd.org, or visit the Conejo Recreation and Park District facebook page. Sincerely, Jim Friedl General Manager
