Conditional Amnesty for a skilled individual - An appeal!

Conditional Amnesty for a skilled individual - An appeal!

The Issue

I take this opportunity to respectfully petition your administration to consider offering amnesty to a subset of documented immigrants who have demonstrated exceptional merit and contribution to our nation  - A subset of educated professionals who entered the country on merit, and maintained this high, indisputable standards as taxpaying immigrants in this great country of United States of America.

Specifically,  I urge you to extend amnesty to individuals who meet the following criteria.

  • Resided in the United States for 20 years or more.
  • Entered the country legally and obtained a master's level and higher education.
  • Do not have any felony convictions, demonstrating adherence to the principles of lawfulness and respect for societal norms.
  • Never utilized public charge, Medicare, or Medicaid benefits, illustrating self-sufficiency and responsible use of public resources.
  • Represent a group of skilled and educated professionals who have made substantial contributions to our society and economy.

  • On the flipside,  I have not engaged in illegal activities, known or unknown including demonstrations, illegal voting etc.
  • The loss of visa and legal immigrant status was due to circumstances beyond our control - job loss, divorce, poor legal representation, wrongful action or other causes that has left me without status.

Despite facing challenges in immigration status,  I have persevered and thrived, enriching my communities through my talents, expertise, and dedication. Granting citizenship to us, and deserving individuals like me would not only recognize our invaluable contributions but also align with our nation's values of fairness, compassion, and opportunity.

It is indeed challenging to see the changes in the nation today. Illegal immigration is a sore spot in the United States of America, more so because of the criminal elements inside the country due to open borders. There is just one more way  I have made this country better in that regard in that -  I have remained free of felonies for more than twenty years.

Here is data from the Center of Migration Studies.  Please see Highly-Educated Undocumented Immigrants in the United States

I summarize - there are close to 1,714,700  highly educated undocumented immigrants aged 18 and older. 32% of these have a Master’s degree. That is 548,704 individuals. This is not even considering the inclusion criteria mentioned above, which will take the number to less than 500,000.

President Biden offered legal entry to countless millions of illegal aliens without skills and with criminal history. President Trump can upturn this the right way!

I hope you agree with me that I can be an asset to the nation, which I have already been so far. I request you to grant us conditional amnesty to continue to be able to work and contribute to this beautiful society.
