Concession in Fees for Mayo College Girls school and Mayo college Ajmer in Covid-19 time.

Concession in Fees for Mayo College Girls school and Mayo college Ajmer in Covid-19 time.
The Issue
We are in receipt of fee bill from school requesting us to pay the pay for next six month from July -Dec of Rs 3,48000 which is the same as last year fee. We paid Rs 3,48000 from Jan to June also though students were at home from March 20th Onwards. The school has not considered or adjusted the extra fee paid for semester Jan to June 2020.
I have a few point to make in this regard:
Firstly, the given fee bill raised for July -Dec 2020 has included no consideration regarding boarding lodging, mess charges, electricity & other facilities which are not being availed by our girls. The girls are home Since 20/3/20, while their fee for Jan to June is already paid. On top of that there seem to be no rational thought behind charging for unavailed utilities in the aforementioned bill. The girls are going to be with us at home for next 4-6 months, until some vaccines is out for Covid-19 and the government issues a guideline to schools for children to join boarding houses. Hence a reconsideration is imperative towards adjustment of the amount already paid & remained unused owing to the circumstances that developed in March-April 2020 and in the subsequent latest bill.
Secondly, we all are well aware that school is shut since March 2020, although there have been commendable efforts to let the education be imparted to children unhindered, breaking the barriers of distance, space & technical accumen, the parents & children have equally proactive made efforts yet this learning doesn’t suffice as most of the parents are facing interrupted networks & whatever is being taught is not as effective as face to face learning. So in the compromised system of delivery how are we supposed to incur the same cost ? Hence reconsideration becomes imperative.
Thirdly, In the present scenario when it is a trying time for everyone- people have had to shut down businesses, lost jobs, facing slackened demands for goods & services that run their livelihood, all this has led to unprecedented losses , therefore this is the time to walk the talk and not treat the pandemic as an opportunity at parents’ cost. It is all the more disheartening to receive such an inconsiderate/insensitive fee bill when the other schools like Scindia, Doon, Wellhams, Lawrence, Modern School to name a few,(documentary proof shall be produced when asked) have given concessions on the existing fee structure for the term for which the schools are not being able to operate physically owing to Covid-19. There has not only been a cut in the fee amount but they have even eased out the remittance by incorporating amendments in the fee payment making it payable quarterly or monthly.
In the end I would like to highlight that all the schools at par with Mayo have declared a concession in the fee for the academic session 2020-21 owing to the unprecedented circumstances in the wake of Covid-19 on their existing fee structure ie of 2019-20 and not on the proposed hike in the fee structure. This justification seems to be a mockery of the turbulent & uncertain times we are all in.
Request you to kindly take it matter at appropriate level, so that a justified fee is charged by school.
