The St.Croix Educational Complex High School’s Class of 2020 is currently close to 250 students. The graduation is scheduled to be on May 21, 2020 in the school’s gymnasium. However, this seems to be an issue because of the class size. The gym is simply not large enough to cater to the graduates and their guests comfortably. Graduation is an important moment in the lives of these young people and it is shared with family and friends. Housing the ceremony in the gym has limited who the students can share this moment with. For the past couple years that the graduation has been held in the gym many problems have arose because of the limited space. To limit any issues that may occur we are requesting that the ceremony be held at The Island Center for Performing Arts. Our request has been denied multiple times by the administration. Now we are using the voice of parents to accomplish our mission.
