Allow us full control of our phones and allow the use of custom operating systems on our phones! Why is it that we can change the operating system of any desktop but not of our smartphones? This would greatly impact our devices' security and even allow us to be secured with the latest operating release long after the manufacturer decides to stop updating our devices. Currently, some phones let you do this with only a few steps. However, some phones force you to take advantage of software exploits (aka bugs) and pay someone else to do it or attempt to do it yourself. An unlocked phone should be unlocked in every way including an unlocked bootloader.
