Complete the Construction of Hawthorne Parkway to Indian Trails Community

The Issue

As residents of the Farmstead Community in Grove City, Ohio, we are increasingly burdened by traffic congestion at the intersection of Hawthorne and 104. This issue hits close to home for us, as additional communities along 665 and 104 are either under development or experiencing rapid growth. As a result, nearly 200 homes rely on just one access point.

The situation has become intolerable, with our community bearing the brunt of this problem. To address this issue, we advocate for the completion of Hawthorne Parkway within our community, Farmstead, and its connection to Indian Trails as outlined in the design plans.

According to data from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Grove City's population has surged by nearly 50% over the past two decades, contributing to the rise in vehicular traffic (ODOT Traffic Survey Report). However, infrastructure development has failed to keep pace with this growth.

Completing Hawthorne Parkway would alleviate our daily commute and improve safety by alleviating road congestion in residential areas. We implore Fischer Homes and elected representatives to prioritize this project and expedite its completion.

We invite you to sign this petition urging Fischer Homes and Grove City officials to expedite the construction of Hawthorne Parkway. Your support can make a significant impact!
