The Issue

India introduced the reservation system to address historical social inequalities and provide opportunities to marginalized communities. However, after decades of implementation, we believe the time has come to move towards a system that promotes merit, equal opportunity, and national unity by abolishing caste-based reservations.
We envision an India where every student and job aspirant earns opportunities through merit, hard work, and ability—not on the basis of birth or caste.
At the same time, we believe that citizens who are genuinely economically disadvantaged should receive greater support through scholarships, financial assistance, quality education, and skill development programs. Furthermore, reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must continue, as they face unique physical and social challenges that require constitutional protection and equal opportunity.
Our Demands
Abolish all caste-based reservations in educational institutions and government employment.
Retain reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Expand financial assistance, scholarships, and educational support for economically weaker citizens regardless of caste or religion.
Establish a system where every Indian has an equal opportunity to succeed, with selection based on merit, hard work, and capability.
We believe that a stronger, more united, and more equitable India can be built by prioritizing merit, equal opportunity, and genuine economic need instead of caste-based classification.
If you believe India should move towards a fair and merit-based system while protecting the rights of Persons with Disabilities and supporting those who are truly in need, please sign this petition and help bring meaningful reform.
