Compel Ubisoft to Reinstate Camera Tracking to Just Dance Games

Compel Ubisoft to Reinstate Camera Tracking to Just Dance Games
The Issue
I have been an avid Just Dance player along with my family and friends for years now, thoroughly enjoying the unique form of exercise and entertainment it provides. However, we were gravely disappointed when Ubisoft, the creators of Just Dance, made the decision to discontinue the support for Kinect. To make matters worse, they removed over 200 songs from Just Dance Unlimited (JDU) and abruptly ceased its sale.
The Kinect feature brought an added level of interaction and fun to the game. Its technology allowed us to play free of handheld controllers, fully immersing ourselves in the joy of dancing. Older Just Dance games supported camera tracking, which enhanced the sense of inclusion for all types of players - from toddlers to the elderly. It's a feature that has greatly missed, and we believe its return would benefit a large populace of players.
The decline of Kinect technology doesn't necessitate the termination of camera tracking. A dedicated camera for the game would be an ideal solution. As an alternative, the Just Dance phone controller app should be optimized to support all dances, allowing the player a broad array of songs to enjoy, just as the Kinect feature once did.
Supporting over 20 million active users annually, Just Dance is a beloved part of many families' daily routines worldwide. Its reintroduction of camera tracking would be welcomed by a vast community of players. So, let’s raise our voices, to persuade Ubisoft to bring back camera-tracking to Just Dance games, and restore the full sense of joy and inclusion their games once held.
