I write this as a distressed Ford owner, who experienced a frightening ordeal of brake failure while confidently driving on the motorway. Unexpectedly, my car's wetbelt snapped causing the brakes and various other significant components to fail, putting not only my life in danger but also the lives of my fellow motorists. I was driving my car which is just barely four years old and was suddenly faced with a huge repair bill. This flaw is not my fault but is clearly a grave design/manufacturing issue from Ford.
