Community Petition to Oppose Proposed Light Manufacturing Facility Near Willowbank

The Issue

We, the undersigned residents of the Willowbank Community and the surrounding area, strongly oppose the construction and operation of a 45,000 square foot light manufacturing facility at or near the intersection of Pennell and Glen Riddle roads, with a driveway directly across from Burnt Church Court.

We believe this development would pose significant and irreversible harm to our community through:

  • Increased traffic congestion and safety risks
  • Excessive noise, especially during early mornings and evenings
  • Potential environmental impact, including air quality and runoff
  • Undermining the residential character of the area and property values

This proposed facility is located in an SU-1 zoning district, which requires special use approval and careful evaluation of its impact on surrounding neighborhoods.

We respectfully urge the Middletown Township Planning Commission and Council to deny approval of the project as currently proposed and to protect the safety, peace, and quality of life of the families who live here.
