We, the undersigned residents and neighbours of the Cessna Drive community, acknowledge that the rezoning application for 46285 and 46295 Cessna Drive has been approved by the City of Chilliwack. While we do recognize the need for additional housing in our community, the revised zoning does not reflect Chilliwacks OCP and does not align with the character, safety, livability, and infrastructure of our neighbourhood.

This petition is not intended to oppose housing development on our street. But we do request that the mayor reconsiders the revised zoning that directly affects the traffic, parking, pedestrian safety, privacy, green space, future building heights and the overall compatibility of housing projects in the surrounding community.

As residents who live, work, and raise our families here, we are committed to supporting responsible growth while preserving the qualities that make our neighbourhood a safe and desirable place to call home.
