About 40% of Hanover Park's Village Fund Money goes toward the Police Department. 

ONLY 7% of that money goes towards Community Development.

This is unacceptable. The Hanover Park Police Department CANNOT be where the MAJORITY of taxpayer money is going. ESPECIALLY since they are not meant to nor ever will be the solution to the varying problems & issues we may face as a community. 

We MUST invest back into our community not only to survive but, TO THRIVE & FLOURISH.  Taxpayer money NEEDS TO focus on Community Well Being & Development. We have the power to create solutions to the problems in our community. We can create those SOLUTIONS by allocating funds toward economic, social, environmental and cultural enhancement.

Esto no tiene justificación. LA MAYOR PARTE DE NUESTROS IMPUESTOS NO DEBERÍA FINANCIAR El Departamento de Policía de Hanover Park. La Policía nunca fue creada para solucionar TODOS los diversos problemas que enfrentamos como comunidad.

DEBEMOS invertir en nuestra comunidad no solamente para nuestra supervivencia pero para que también PROSPERE. Los impuestos que pagamos DEBERÍAN ser usados para el bienestar y desarrollo de la comunidad. El PODER que tenemos como comunidad nos da la oportunidad solucionar los problemas que enfrentamos. Podemos SOLUCIONAR los problemas que enfrentamos como comunidad si estos fondos se usan para el mejoramiento económico, social, ambiental y cultural.
