New York City Sanitation workers are still out there doing their job while we are in the middle of a pandemic. Multiple garages throughout the city have been closed due to some employees testing positive for COVID-19. The garage closes for 24 hours, gets sanitized, then back to business the following day. Besides all of this, nobody has been provided with proper protection such as masks, gloves or hand sanitizer. They have been given NOTHING. DSNY men and women deserve better as they are expected to report to work everyday while putting their quarantined families at risk. Commissioner Garcia, Mayor DeBlasio and Governor Cuomo you need to do MORE for your very valuable and dedicated NYC Sanitation Workers!!!
